NHS launches tool for hospitals to assess sepsis risk

The NHS in England has launched a tool that will enable hospitals to more accurately measure numbers of patients admitted as emergencies with severe bacterial infection who are at risk of sepsis, as part of efforts to improve sepsis prevention and reduce deaths.
