Penalties not lowering hospital-acquired infection rates

A penalty program established to reduce infections and other complications in U.S. hospitals hasn’t made these events less likely or reduced fatalities or repeat hospitalizations, a large study suggests.

My Comment: The penalties are way too low. 1% is garbage! Why should they care when it's only 1%? The Hospitals should be penalized 100%! Then maybe, just maybe, Hospital Acquired Infections will no longer exist! When they start losing big time, patients will stop dying. Don't forget, they only care about the Almighty DOLLAR!!!

While this may be hard to believe for many, doctors do not always have our best interest in mind. What’s worse, is that we are now living in a world where disease has become a profitable empire and in turn, many people are being falsely diagnosed in the name of money.

Today makes 26 month's since My Husband's MEDICAL MURDER. Life is no better and never will be. This nightmare will never end. The State of New Hampshire Official's are as useless as "tit's on a bull", as my husband used to say. They think nothing of letting Medical Murderers run free to just keep on killing unknowing patient's. Euthanasia, Stealth Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide are "SUPPOSED" to be ILLEGAL in New Hampshire as well as the rest of the Nation. So WHY are the Death Monger's getting away with MURDER?
My Husband was just one of MANY, Murdered by the UN-ETHICAL UN-PROFFESSIONAL'S  entrusted with his care. Treatment and LIFE is what he and my family adamantly stated we wanted. Not DEATH at the hands of the un-caring Death Monger's sent in to kill him. He was starved to death, overdosed with Morphine by NON-consensual Hospice/Palliative care, infection never treated and illnesses we were never told about, nor was he ever treated for them, which included SEPSIS! And then the big kicker, he was ILLEGALLY DNR'D. The NH Board of Medicine stated he was in fact ILLEGALLY DNR'D and it was due to MISCOMMUNICATION. Does MISCOMMUNICATION give anybody the right to MURDER????? Evidently in New Hampshire it does.
For anyone who want's to live, steer clear of St. Joseph Hospital, where Death Panels DO EXIST and REFUSE the care of Hospitalist's at Any and ALL Hospital's that have them. These are the Doctor's who work for the Hospital, not for you the patient. I believe this is how the Hospital's save money and refuse to allow your own Primary Care Doctor in to take care of you. Hospitalist's MUST go!!!!
My Husband's Primary Care Dr. was never even contacted. She had no clue what was going on. The Hospital didn't even have the decency to send her his Medical file until I bitched!! After My Husband's death I contacted her about the sucky care he received and how I and my family were treated like shit. She decided she didn't want to get involved. At the time I had no clue why, as she was just as pissed as I was. Well what do you know. Dr. Death, who overdosed MY Husband with Morphine has a wife who is an R.N. and work's at the same facility as My Husband's Dr. They ALL stick together, even in MURDER! Why have Law's when they aren't ENFORCED????? Why do so-called Health UN-proffessionals get away with MURDER? Who the F*** are they?
My Husband will NOT be forgotten and as long as I live, I will keep on telling our Nightmare. Maybe some day some official will care about our Loved one's being MEDICALLY MURDERED and actually do something to stop it. How about holding the Murderers accountable? Prosecution is what's needed. My Husband and all the other's Euthanized against their will need Justice and so do I. The MURDERERS need to rot in Prison where they belong. MURDER is "SUPPOSED" to be a crime!

Doctors claimed dad, 32, died of heart attack - it took 9 years to find the truth

Jessica Porter was just 11 when her beloved dad, Allan, died.

Despite being only 32, the hospital he was treated at insisted he was killed by a heart attack - a diagnosis backed up by his original post-mortem.

But his family never accepted this and launched an almost decade long campaign for the truth.

Now, nine years after his tragic death, a coroner has ruled he died as the result of hospital neglect and the findings of an original post-mortem into his death have been overturned at an inquest.

After a heated battle over the last year and a half,  and three recommendations from the AMA Committee on Ethics and Judicial Affairs to retain the language of the AMA’s position opposing assisted suicide and euthanasia,  The American Medical Association (AMA) today AFFIRMED the CEJA report which recommends that  it RETAIN its opposition to these practices by physicians.   The vote was 65-35, a stunningly huge margin of victory. 

This means that, though physicians administering assisted suicide in U.S. states where these practices are permitted may be practicing legally, that practice remains unethical, according to the ethical guidelines of major medical organizations like the AMA, the WMA, the ACP, the APA, and many other major medical organizations that “profess” a code of ethics.  This is the stance that has been at the core of medical values since Hippocrates, and endured as nations have come and gone, and their demands on physicians have varied in ways that have challenged various aspects of Medicine's core ethos.
