By Bob D’Angelo, Cox Media Group – A 73-year-old Colorado grandmother is considering legal action after doctors at the University of Colorado Hospital removed both of her healthy kidneys.

Linda Woolley said doctors told her surgery was necessary because she likely had kidney cancer.

My comment: My husband was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer and removal was scheduled immediately. A lung biopsy showed no malignancy, so we then questioned them about the "supposed" kidney cancer. The Doctor admitted he might not have kidney cancer and that the only way to find out would be to remove the kidney. We refused and the Doctor turned into a total puke, admitted him into the hospital and forced him into NON-consensual Hospice/Palliative care without our knowledge and ultimately killed him from an UN-treated UTI and UN-treated SEPSIS. Traditional Doctor's of yesteryear would never have let this happen. They USED to take pride in saving lives. Not anymore. Money is the only thing they care about these days. Caring Doctors are a thing of the past!

Sepsis is a devastating disease that results in over 250,000 deaths and 1.3 million hospitalizations per year. In February 2016, the Third International Consensus on Sepsis published “Sepsis 3.0,” the first new sepsis guidelines since 2003. The new guidelines were welcomed by many since the long interval time since “Sepsis 2.0,” but have already created a firestorm of controversy especially in emergency medicine. Much of this controversy is due to the move away from the systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) criteria in favor of the sequential organ failure assessment score (SOFA) and qSOFA scores. I encourage everyone to read the three excellent articles published by the “Sepsis 3.0” consensus group in theJournal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). Dutch to prosecute doctor who euthanized woman with dementia

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — Dutch officials said Friday they will prosecute a nursing home doctor for euthanizing an elderly woman with dementia, the first time a doctor has been charged since the Netherlands legalized euthanasia in 2002.

Dutch prosecutors said in a statement the doctor "had not acted carefully" and "overstepped a line" when she performed euthanasia. Officials first began probing the case in September, when they found the doctor had drugged the patient's coffee and then had family members hold her down while delivering the fatal injection.
