The NH Atty. General need's to investigate Sepsis Death's Contracted in the Hospital

The NH Atty. General need's to investigate St. Joseph Hospital. I spoke with a man this morning whose 71 year old Mother was sent home from St. Joseph's with MRSA. She was then sent to a Hospital in Ma. where she died. My Husband was sent home with a UTI and Sepsis and had to be re- admitted. If I had known, my Husband NEVER would have been re-admitted to that Hospital. He would have been sent to a Hospital that would have at least had the decency to tell us what was going on and treat him. Not write him off, put him on Hospice/Palliative care ILLEGALLY (which Medicare paid the bill after St. Joseph's stated he wasn't enrolled). Legally, he wasn't,so Medicare paid for FULL services for a patient ILLEGALLY forced onto Hospice and ILLEGALLY DNR'D.

I have spoken to several other's whose loved one's and friend's have also contracted Sepsis at St. Joseph's and paid the ultimate price just like my Husband who was Medically Murdered April 26,2017.

Our Loved one's are needlessly dying. Denied treatment for Hospital acquired infection's and no-one is standing up for them. People need to contact the NH Atty. General and the NH County Atty's office and DEMAND Justice for our Medically Murdered Loved one's. This should NOT be happening. It's 2019 and our healthcare is worse than it was 50 year's ago. These death's need to be investigated, NOT swept under the rug!

“There Are Too Many Quacks Around Here.” You've Got that Right!

“There Are Too Many Quacks Around Here.”

Cancer … or a cough? Patients reveal their scariest misdiagnosis stories

| “I got a third opinion from a surgeon who said I broke six different bones … There are too many quacks around here.”

HealthWay.com – It isn’t easy to be a doctor.
There are unlimited causes of any cluster of symptoms, and it’s your job to narrow that down to a single diagnosis. Odds are, you’re going to get it wrong every now and then.
In fact, the National Academy of Medicine warns that “most people” will have at least one incorrect diagnosis in their lifetimes.
More than 20 percent of the patients who visit the Mayo Clinic show up with the wrong diagnosis.

Today is the 23 Month Anniversary of My Husband's Medical Murder at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH

Today is the 23 month Anniversary of my Husband's Medical Murder by the Hospital we once trusted, NEVER to be trusted again. Everyone say's it get's easier, but they're full of it.
Every day is harder and harder. His death has been a devastating blow on his entire family. Almost 43 year's sleeping next to the love of my life and sharing everything, then all of a sudden he's gone. The pain is unbearable. My ambition is gone. I only do was has to be done. He's no longer here to help me make decision's. To help me with anything. To kiss me good-bye when I leave the house. To be waiting for me at the door when I get home. To help carry in the groceries. To help take care of the grandchildren. It's so lonely without him and the little one's are just as lost. The Grandfather that helped them build snow fort's, pulled them around on the sled, played ball with them and whatever else they wanted to play, no longer here because he was denied the Medical care he deserved. Our almost 4 year old granddaughter told me today, she want's a necklace just like her sister's with ashes of DeDe in it, but she think's he's still in the hospital. She keeps waiting for him to come home. There's even a song on a TV commercial called "I'm Coming Home" and she call's it DeDe's song. Whenever she hear's it she say's DeDe's coming home.
Dealing with my Husband's death is the worst thing I've ever had to deal with. We were together 44 year's. Every day, every night. He was my protector. My true Love. My Knight in Shining Armor.
I will never understand how "Doctor's" can go on killing people instead of saving live's and are Never held accountable for that matter. Atty. General's in other States are prosecuting Doctor's who Murder their patient's, but NOT in New Hampshire. Why??? My husband didn't deserve to die. He was a good man. Just because he REFUSED to let his HEALTHY kidney be removed, was no reason to kill him, but that's exactly what they did.
My Husband will NOT be forgotten. Not ever and I will fight for the justice he deserves for as long as I live.
I Love You My Knight and Always Will.

Non-Antibiotic Drug Can Combat Infection And Prevent Multiple Organ Failure

Non-Antibiotic Drug Can Combat Infection And Prevent Multiple Organ Failure

A team of scientists at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) discovered that the drug InnovoSep is capable of preventing the organ damage to be caused by all the bacteria that lead to sepsis.
Throughout a pre-clinical test of InnovoSep, at some step, the scientists also discovered that the drug could significantly prevent the multiple organ failure in the later stages of sepsis condition.
Sepsis can become a silent cause of death as the condition can worsen rapidly without getting early diagnosed due to its imprecise signs and symptoms, which are almost the same as that of the flu. Any type of bacterial infection can transform into sepsis, even from minor skin infections, UT infections, or a break or cut on the skin.
The World Health Organization reports estimated that over 30 Million people have been suffering from sepsis every year globally, and the condition could likely to cause around 6 Million deaths.

Livanta is Usless as Tit's on a Bull, as my Medically Murdered Husband Would Say! (Edited)

http://www.livanta.com/bfccqio.html

Beneficiary and Family Centered Care
Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO)
Next Joke!

Don't believe ANYTHING you read or hear concerning Government agencies that are "SUPPOSED" to be looking out for OUR well being. They are only looking out for themselves and their weekly pay check's (and maybe even payoffs, which wouldn't surprise me in the least!)
I just received another Reconsideration Determination on the care my husband received (he actually received NO CARE) while a patient at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH.
My husband was ILLEGALLY, without consent, put on Hospice/Palliative care by Hospitalist Amit Chander after we had already refused. Nobody told us who the Death Monger was that wheeled his wheelchair into my husband's room and proceeded to overdose him with 225 mgs. of Morphine DAILY, which I didn't find out until I got his Medical record's. No repercussions for him, but Death for my husband. The State of NH just doesn't care about the Medically Murdered. And Medicare paid the fraudulent bills.
The latest complaint I filed with Livanta, was only filed because the NH Medical Board told  me to do it after they found in my husband's Medical file that he was ILLEGALLY DNR'd. They found that themselves, but of course refuse to do anything about it. They stated, "It was a case of MISCOMMUNICATION."  So does MISCOMMUNICATION give ANYBODY the right to MURDER another human being? In NH I guess it does!
The paperwork from Livanta states there were hospitalist's, ER physicians, nurse practitioners and a palliative care physician there at the time of my husband's admission. F***ing Liar's. There were two ER Doctor's and a Palliative care Nurse Practitioner came in and NEVER told us WHO she was. SHE is responsible for the MURDER of my husband! SHE stopped  the treatment the ER Physician's started. But how could she? We din't hire her. Who sent her into my husband's room? Oh, of course, it had to have been Oncologist Douglas Tisdale. The Doctor that wanted to remove his "Healthy" kidney! Kristin Fox wasn't even his Doctor. I've heard plenty about her since my husband's Murder. Nothing good.
My husband's own Primary Care Dr.own Doctor was never even contacted or consulted with. The paperwork also states he was DNR status at the time of admission. Again, F***ing LIARS! It also states my husband was put on a Morphine drip, which he WAS'NT, even though Kristin Fox tried to coerce us into a morphine drip and DNR And fought us to remove hydration and oxygen. It's bad enough they starved him for three weeks when they REFUSED him a feeding tube. For that matter, they REFUSED EVERYTHING we requested! It also states he was put on comfort care. Comfort care was NEVER mentioned. Palliative care was NEVER mentioned and nobody ever told us what Comfort care or Palliative care was!
Why are OUR tax dollar's paying for these USELESS agencies when all they go by are falsified record's and NEVER listen to the patient or family members?
Livanta needs to be ABOLISHED. How can they see nothing wrong with the standard of care being practiced by these Hospital's? I guess they ALL need glasses AND a new job! President Trump would be doing us ALL a great favor if he shut down Livanta AND put an end to Hospice/Palliative care which practices ILLEGAL Euthanasia!

2 Years today My Husband was ILLEGALLY, NON-consensually put on Hospice/Palliative Care!

Today is the 2 year Anniversary my Husband was ILLEGALLY, NON-consensually, put on Hospice/Palliative care without our knowledge, AFTER we had already refused, by the Un-ethical, UN-professional piece of shit, so-called Hospitalist/Doctor Amit Chander at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. Un-ethical, Un-professional, so-called Dr. Donald McDonah was ILLEGALLY consulted and proceeded to Overdose my Husband with 225 mg.s of Morphine DAILY. MEDICARE FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!

Is your Hospital or Doctor an A.C.O. Member? If they are Run!

Hospital's and Doctor's who join these Accountable Care Organizations, which is a voluntary Medicare Program, are rewarded for cutting care through the ACO Shared Savings Program.
All Medicare money not spent is partially returned to the provider as a 40% rebate, because they rather spend $40 than $100.
Hold on to your Loved ones. The highest spending groups, people with more than one illness,  are the people being targeted for Hospice and ILLEGAL Euthanasia. This is how they save money, by killing off our Loved ones!

Of Four Paths to the End of Life, One Is Far Pricier Than Others

Of Four Paths to the End of Life, One Is Far Pricier Than Others

The findings of a new Medicare study conflict with popular ideas about which patients cost the most health care dollars in the last year of life — and where potential cost savings lie.

Last-ditch, high-tech heroic treatments. Days in the hospital intensive care unit. You might think this is what makes dying in America so expensive — and that it’s where we should focus efforts to spend the nation’s health care dollars more wisely.
But a new study finds that for nearly half of older Americans, the pattern of high spending on health care was already in motion a full year before they died.
That was due to the care they received for multiple chronic health conditions, including many doctor visits and regular hospital stays over the year, not just in their final days.
As a result, the study shows, the last year of life for this large group of seniors costs the Medicare system five times as much as the care received by the much smaller group of seniors who have a sudden burst of very expensive care in their last few weeks of life. The findings have clear implications for efforts to improve care, and contain the growth of costs, at the end of life.

NAEMT and Sepsis Alliance Announce Results of National Sepsis Survey

NAEMT and Sepsis Alliance Announce Results of National Sepsis Survey

A poster produced by the Sepsis Alliance includes some key facts about sepsis. (A link to download a PDF of the poster is at the end of the article.)

In a recent national survey of more than 1,300 EMS providers, the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) in association with the Sepsis Alliance found that although nearly all respondents (98%) consider sepsis a medical emergency, only about half (51%) feel very confident in their ability to recognize symptoms of sepsis—the body’s life-threatening response to an infection.
Each year, about 1.7 million people in the United States are diagnosed with sepsis, with 270,000 dying, making sepsis a priority public health issue. This is reflected in the 83% of respondents who say that they’ve seen sepsis within the past year.

Fining trusts for patient deaths robs others of better treatment-How about the U.S.?

Fining trusts for patient deaths robs others of better treatment

You would think that the prospect of losing a patient was motivation enough to encourage the most thorough diagnosis and treatment of a sick person. However, from April the government could now impose fines upon hospitals if they do not treat or recognise sepsis (a condition where the body responds poorly to a bacterial infection and attacks its own tissue and organs), early enough.

My comment: This is exactly what the U.S. should be doing, seeing how at least one Nashua, NH Hospital is GUILTY of NOT treating SEPSIS and I'm sure there are many more!

New Mexico assisted suicide bill stopped. Thank God!

New Mexico assisted suicide bill stopped.
Alex Schadenberg
Executive Director - Euthanasia Prevention Coalition

I have amazing news.

The New Mexico assisted suicide bill (HB 90) has been tabled. I assessed that HB 90 was the most extreme assisted suicide bill that I had ever seen, and even after it was amended, the language of the bill allowed for euthanasia and enabled the practise of the law to expand.

Yesterday, the Arkansas assisted suicide bill also died.

New drug may stop sepsis from reaching major organs

New drug may stop sepsis from reaching major organs

Researchers discover a drug that has the potential to stop sepsis before the condition reaches major organs and becomes fatal.
Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that occurs when an existing infection — such as one that develops in a cut, a respiratory infection, or a urinary tract infection — triggers an immune response that affects the body's tissues and major organs.
Sepsis constitutes a medical emergency because, if a person does not receive treatment, it can lead to death.
In the United States, over 1 million people experience severe sepsis every year, and up to 30 percent of these individuals die as a result.
Worldwide, over 30 million people have sepsis each year, and up to 6 million people die from it. Most commonly, sepsis is caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.
New research brings much-needed hope for the treatment of sepsis. Researchers at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) — which is located in Dublin — have tested a compound called cilengitide in a preclinical trial. The drug goes by the brand name InnovoSep.

Doc, hospital face another lawsuit over drug doses, deaths

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Another family is suing an Ohio hospital and a critical-care doctor accused of ordering excessive doses of pain medication for dozens of patients who died.
Attorneys for the family of Peggy Francies filed the lawsuit Tuesday against the Columbus-area Mt. Carmel Health System and Dr. William Husel (HYOO’-suhl). The health system and Husel face at least two dozen wrongful-death lawsuits.

5 myths about legalizing assisted suicide in NY (Commentary)

In 2019, the New York Legislature will once again consider a bill to permit healthcare providers to give lethal prescriptions to adults who are deemed terminally ill and ask to die. Despite lack of success in the past, proponents will use myths in arguing that legalizing assisted suicide enhances patient choice without compromising patient safety.

New guidelines for hospitals in England to cut sepsis deaths-What about the U.S.???

New guidelines for hospitals in England to cut sepsis deaths

Hospitals could face financial penalties if they fail to meet new guidelines for detecting and treating sepsis.
The guidance, mandated by NHS England, includes a requirement for staff to alert senior doctors if patients suspected of having the deadly condition do not respond to treatment within one hour.
All NHS trusts in England will be contractually obliged to fully comply with the advice from April, in a bid to improve accountability.

Sepsis a leading cause of death in US hospitals but many deaths may not be preventable

Sepsis a leading cause of death in US hospitals but many deaths may not be preventable

Sepsis is a major contributor to disability, death and health care costs in the United States and worldwide. A growing recognition of the high burden of sepsis as well as media coverage of high-profile, sepsis-induced deaths have catalyzed new efforts to prevent and manage the disease. While new initiatives have been beneficial in paving the road toward better detection and treatment of sepsis, the role of sepsis in associated deaths and their preventability remain largely unknown. To address this question, a research team at Brigham and Women's Hospital has comprehensively reviewed the characteristics and clinical management of patients who died with sepsis. The results are published in JAMA Network Open.

Intravenous Vitamin C is a cancer killer the FDA still wants to ban

Intravenous Vitamin C is a cancer killer the FDA still wants to ban

Vitamin C has a broad spectrum antioxidant function with the ability to protect cell structures and DNA from free radical damage. Vitamin C is remarkably safe even in enormously high doses. Compared to commonly used prescription drugs, side effects are virtually nonexistent.
No matter how high the concentration, vitamin C does not harm healthy cells. Yet, through an array of enzymatic and metabolic reactions, vitamin C has an impressive ability to protect and treat and wide range of diseases, including cancer. When something is this effective at treating disease, the FDA will stop at nothing to prevent public access.
The benefits of long-term vitamin C consumption in excess of the U.S. government recommended daily allowance (RDA) are widely acknowledged and include reduced risks of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and cataracts.
Higher-than-RDA vitamin C intakes have been associated with increases in good HDL cholesterol, decreases in LDL cholesterol oxidation, decreased blood pressure and decreased cardiovascular mortality.

Actor Jason Watkins, who lost his daughter Maudie, two, to sepsis in 2011, has made a plea on Twitter for better awareness of the often fatal blood condition after reading about another family's loss.
BAFTA-winner Watkins, 52, posted a heartfelt tweet saying 'we know this pain' after reading about the inquest into the death of Marcie Tadman, two, who lost her life to sepsis in December 2017.

Researchers from the Gaultier Lab in the University School of Medicine published a paper Feb. 6, in the journal Science Translational Medicine on their recent finding that the drug fluvoxamine, ordinarily used as medication for those with obsessive-compulsive disorder, may have the ability to treat sepsis as well.

Nearly 20,000 U.S. Staph Deaths Last Year, CDC Reports

Nearly 20,000 U.S. Staph Deaths Last Year, CDC Reports

CDC experts say health care tactics such as decolonization (reducing germs people may carry and spread) before surgery and following CDC's current recommendations could prevent more staph infections.
A new Vital Signs report from CDC says more than 119,000 bloodstream infections and nearly 20,000 deaths are attributable to staph, showing that —despite reductions to date—staph infections still threaten patients in the United States. The report underscore that all staph can be deadly and that health care providers and administrators can take prevention steps to protect their patients.
The report includes results derived from electronic health records at more than 400 acute care hospitals, the experts said in a briefing March 5.

Sepsis deaths prompt Allina health system to change

The hospital system identified new ways to make testing, diagnosis and treatment faster.

Faster identification and treatment of sepsis by Allina Health hospitals in Minnesota has reduced deaths from the infection-related condition.
Doctors and nurses at Allina started re-examining how they treat sepsis in 2014, after being dismayed at the number of deaths and learning that the condition was three times more lethal than strokes and heart attacks.

Although we should continue efforts to identify and treat patients with sepsis early, this study suggests we should be more nuanced in our assessment of “failed” sepsis care.

Medicare Trims Payments To 800 Hospitals, Citing Patient Safety Incidents

Medicare Trims Payments To 800 Hospitals, Citing Patient Safety Incidents

Eight hundred hospitals will be paid less by Medicare this year because of high rates of infections and patient injuries, federal records show.
The number is the highest since the federal government five years ago launched the Hospital Acquired Conditions (HAC) Reduction Program, created by the Affordable Care Act. Under the program, 1,756 hospitals have been penalized at least once, a Kaiser Health News analysis found.
This year, 110 hospitals are being punished for the fifth straight time.

Maryland’s end-of-life bill is about one thing: Killing

Maryland’s end-of-life bill is about one thing: Killing
It’s called the End-of-Life Option Act. That sounds appealing — until you realize that one of the options on offer is killing.
Patients and doctors should have a full array of dignified end-of-life options. But there’s a reason, for two and a half millennia, doctors have taken the Hippocratic oath: “I will keep [the sick] from harm and injustice. I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody who asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect.”
Physicians devoted to their patients’ care should not be in the killing business.
