Victorian emergency doctor in Perth to warn of euthanasia laws

An emergency doctor who spearheaded campaigns against the legalisation of voluntary euthanasia in Victoria is in Perth to warn of the risks of assisted dying laws and focus opposition to the state government's plans to introduce it in WA.

Stephen Parnis, a former Victorian AMA president, said he would be meeting MPs and doctors over the next few days to encourage them to learn from the passage of Victoria's legislation.
